Salvation through Jesus Christ is one of the most important teachings in the Bible. It is the belief that through His death and resurrection, Jesus has provided a way for humans to be forgiven of their sins and to have eternal life with God.
The Bible teaches that all humans are sinners and are separated from God because of their sin. However, God loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. Through faith in Jesus, our sins can be forgiven and we can have a restored relationship with God.
Romans 10:9 says, «If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.» This means that we must confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that He died for our sins and was raised from the dead.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says, «For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.» This means that salvation is a gift from God that we receive by faith, not by anything we can do on our own.
John 3:16 says, «For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.» This means that God loves us so much that He was willing to sacrifice His Son for our sake, so that we could have eternal life.
In summary, salvation through Jesus Christ is the belief that through faith in Jesus, our sins can be forgiven and we can have eternal life with God. This is a gift from God, received by faith, and available to all who believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
